Polo owner from Canberry

Hi everyone

I own a standard 2004 Polo Match. I moved to Canberra from Adelaide 6 months ago. My main reason for joining is to ensure I get my next service at the right place...I won't go into what happened the last time! But I'm certainly also a VW fan, probably for life.

They stole my tool kit! I called them and they flatly denied it. Who needs to steal a standard tool kit when they have a workshop. Not sure if I should complain to consumer affairs about it.

Welcome to the forum - seems like a heap of new ACT VWers appearing in recent times!

Not sure where you had your bad service experience locally, but I would recommend Canberra VW Centre in Belconnen or Tuggeranong. I've dealt with Peter from Belconnen since I bought my Polo and he's done a fantastic job with every car I've taken to him since (4 VWs so far).

Thanks for that. I can certainly say it wasn't either of your recommendations. My old mechanic in Adelaide warned me about Canberra's reputation of dodgy mechanics and he wasn't wrong! I'll be taking it to Belco next time.
