Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Hi my name is Steve
My ride is a 2008 Multivan I converted into a coffee van. One of my businesses is engine chipping so I get to drive some top rides but my van is the one I love driving. I am getting a 2010 Multivan and want to get some weight rated wheels (18s or 19s ). I was told you can get them from the USA but can not find them. Can anyone help?.

    Regards

    Multivan

    Howdy Steve

Excuse my ignorance but what is a multivan ?
I had 18" chromes on a red '03 Honda Civic. Too much like a Ferrari without the power. Precise and twitchy, it was like a bucket to get in a d out of and no bonnet can be seen inside the car. It was hard to sell and the tyres were 40 profile cost a mint.
I have driven the T5 Tdi auto and so impressed I am going round Oz in one when I can afford to get one at auction (ex Ambulance)

    cheers
    Martin
