Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Harvest Moon Newbie

    Hi, newbie here.. originally from Brisbane but now living in the USA. Got my first VW last month - a 2006 New Beetle 2.5L PZEV. I just got my first license (I'm not a kid - just a late learner) so she is MY first car and I love her Very easy to drive, handles nicely and the lil 2.5L engine packs a punch







    Everything on her is standard and with my limited knowledge about cars I doubt I will change anything.

    She replaces our Civic who was totaled a couple months back - we got rear ended by a stupid kid driver.. we would have been fine had we not been behind an SUV! But it was a blessing in disguise I guess since I got my Bug out of it


    And she has been recently joined by another Civic
