GTI soon... i hope

Should hopefully be getting my GTI this saturday if everything goes to plan. Ended up with an 05 model (MY06) one in silver and apart from the lack of a sunroof am very happy with the rest of the car.

First VW i have ever purchased.. so apart from constantly turning on my wipers when turning corners, everything else seems to be good.

Nice choice.

The sunroof shouldn't really be a problem.
It causes lots of burreting and is a structural weakpoint if you ever roll the car.
Plus it costs a tonne of money to fix them if anything goes wrong and the seals go in them after a while.

Not really a justifiable extra for the amout of times you would use it imho.

It's a very nicely kept car. Has basically every other extra other than the sunroof. It has 18" vw rims on it, though im thinking of trying to track down some of the older mk5 r32 ones as i love the look of those rims.

Other than that only plan is to get the windows tinted. Any advice on tinting places would be appreciated.

as for the sunroof.... i get that a lot Mainly from people who have owned sunroof's... i guess its just one of those things most people 'have to try' once, and then realise its not such a great idea.
