Hi Everyone,
I've owned many performance cars having worked in the motorsport industry in the past and the Mk5 GTi is a car I always wanted to own. I've owned (or had as company cars) both an MX5 and a WRX and the Golf GTi blends both the handling of the MX5 and the torquey power delivery of the WRX making the GTi possibly the best street car I've owned.
But I've had my time with this car, enjoyed every minute and it's time to sell. I joined this forum to find other Mk5 Golf enthusiasts as I'd really like my immaculate, full history Mk5 Gti to go to an enthusiast that will look after and preserve this car. I understand there are forum rules around posting for sale ads but this car is too good to just put up on Facebook marketplace and risk it going to someone that will neglect is as a daily driver. Happy to chat with the admins to work something.
