Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Cool, I gotta say working underground is a whole lot more exciting for me then open cut, Everything is more difficult underground!

Better to be based in Brisbane then, once you get too far out it gets very tedious. I spend around a 1 month per year trawling around Mackay and Moranbah. Least favorite time of the year. Not to mention being seperated from the R!

    Cheers,

    Mitch

Yeah I've had it lucky this year, I haven't been out there at all. Spent a reasonable amount of time last year out at Moranbah, Dysart and and Blackwater.
Actually speaking of Dysart and Underground mining, have you seen the Qld Mines and Rescue Services GAG jet engine?
One of our senior engineers automated it at the beginning of this year.

                  Johnny,

Dont happen past there much on the weekends, although it is part of my bi-weekly spirited drive home from work in gosford though! Anything to bypass the roadworks.

                  Cheers,
