Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    NSW Another New 147 Owner

    Hi all,

    I'm from the north shore in Sydney and i used this site to get some good info before signing on the dotted line. Now thats done i figured i should join this site to see the latest in all that is Tiguan.

    I'm also looking at upgrading wheels and maybe getting my hands on one of those passat-esque polished aluminium grills when/if they become available.

    So i managed to snap up a cancelled order on a Tiguan 147, Black, Black Leather and Sunroof which happened to be exactly what i was after and therefore have a pretty short wait compared to others, November.

    Got a great deal as well considering its a car in very high demand with little supply, loving myself!

    Well played! Another Tig... woohoo. Might be worth organising a Tig off-the-beaten-track cruise for Sydney based Tig owners. I suggested it once, but didn't have much response as there weren't that many Sydney based Tig owners yet.

    Can't wait for your pics when it arrives mate!

      Yeah, i'll put a few pics up as soon as i can. I noticed that as well, not many Sydney based owners.

      haha i'm not going to lie to you, i didn't exactly buy this thing to take it off-road, it was all about getting a little bit of European practicality, quality and luxury in my life after driving a 2004 Toyota MR2 convertible around for the last few years, plus it blew everything else out of the water in its class if you were prepared to cough up a couple extra bucks.

      But you know this already being an owner yourself!!
