Welcome mate. Nice Jetta, it looks good in white.
As duglet said make sure you get rid of that awful Toyota plate holding.
Also make sure you get your car serviced by a proper VW tech (be it factory or independent). Without the proper diagnostics software, tech bulletins and general brand know how, mechanics just don't know to maintain and service these cars properly (as some friends of mine have found time and time again).

Thanks for the comments guys. Yeah love the car in white, plenty in black on the Gold Coast - Hardly any of this model in white.
Yeah ill take that toyota crap off when i get five minutes - we are looking at some european number plates to put on the car soon anyway so will make it look much better.
Funny you said that about VW mechanics - We took the car to GC VW this week to get our new key programmed that was purchased from VW in Brisbane. THe idiots nearly stuffed both of the keys. The blade on the new key didnt fit into the ignition barrel so they thought they would get tricky and pull the old key appart and put the blade from that in the new key (completely defeating the purpose of having a spare).... Then we find out that when they put the blade in the new key it didnt work! - You would think being a VW dealership/service center they would know that it wasnt going to work like that.
So they decided to put the keys back together the way they were "hoping" it would work. Luckily it did... *Sigh*
does anyone know if Gold Coast VW is actually any good?

That's one SEXY car.. Love the white
I've been taking my car to Southport VW since I bought it there in February and I can't complain. The service is amazing (they actually treat you like a customer) and whether the techs are any good.. Well I'm not a mechanic so I can't judge. I always get my car back in one piece though
