Hi everybody,
I am from Adelaide, gotta admit i am more into the air cooled side of things but i still love my water cooled VWs as well & i have a mark1 gti golf that i am fixing up at the momenet.
I am the events officer for the Volkswagen Enthusiasts Club is South Australia and i wanted to join this forum so i can come on here and invite all the water cooled car owners to join in our crusies and club runs.... some of you guys came along to a DYNO day we held last year and it was great to have you guys there. You rolled up with some serious kick arse cars.
Sunday 13th September we are doing a fish n chip run to semaphore. starting at the Cahnnel Seven car park on Port Rd , Hindmarsh meeting at 10.00am & leaving at 10.30am
Friday 18th September: Blitzkrieg Cruising Meeting point Le Cornu car park ANZAC Hwy at 8.00pm for 8.30pm leave, then we will be crusing down to glenelg then back into & around the city, then stopping at McDonalds on West Terrace for burgers and VW talk aftre the cruise.
Friday 25th September: GPK pizza Night, we meet at Paradise Pizza, 703 Lower North East Rd from 7.30pm for pizza , pasta, ice cream, coffee and VW talk.
Again all you guys are welcome to come along to anything we do, we are all one big VW family. i hope to see some of you guys & girls some time.
