Newbie from SA

hi everyone. Just purchased my 07 Polo GTi (leather + sunroof) from QLD, driving it back here to SA last week. Have been after one for ages, finally did the deed. Brilliant car! Well worth the wait and effort (there's none 4sale here in SA).
I'm here to gain mechanical knowledge and "issues" known to exist with these cars, and to hopefully learn how to maybe reduce the VW dealership repair bills, if they ever come about.
I would like to thank the administrators and all you wonderful people out there for these AMAZING threads and host of info you all bring together.

Drew, my '07 Polo GTI is for sale in Adelaide, once I hand it back to the dealer in October as a trade in for a Tiguan. It is red with leather and Ipod adaptor. Shame...
