Hi all,
Have been browsing VWVortex for over a year now as im a bit of a fan of Mk1's and the euro styling with a bit of stretch, and have been looking for a set of BBS RS's for my baby, a BMW 2002. It will probably be a case of make the car fit around the wheels in the end. Anyway, came accross this site as its more Oz related and like what i saw - some great cars on here!
Other plans for my car are to turbo the M10 motor and all thats holding me back at the moment is an ECU (on the lookout for an Autronic SM4) and good fuel system (actually noticed someone was parting a very nice Mk1 with 044, surge tank etc in the FS section but now I can't get back into that area now?). Have secured all other parts to make it initially work so looking forward to having it on the road soon!
Hope you'll all allow me to stay on, hopefully i'll be able to contribute something.
Couple of pics:
Before/After Ground Control coilover and Wilwood install. First shot has 15x7 Alpinas all round, second has a couple of replicas on the front.
