Hi Fellas, Just introducing myself.
On Wednesday this week i took ownership of my new Mk4 VW Golf GTI (1999), It's got everything i wanted and is chipped so it has that little extra punch. absolutley loving the car and cant wait to learn more about it. (i'll put some piccies up some)

while i'm here i may aswell ask a question!
is it hard to install a new deck into the car myself? (stock standard stereo, and i've done a few other stereos now (bout 3)) or should i just get someone else to do it?!

Hey welcome to the forum.

It's not too hard to install a new HU.. I found the hardest part is removing the Eurovox unit that's currently there (provided you have that one).
