Hey guys, so glad there is a good forum for Vdubs and SEAT's and I'm a bit upset that I didn't get on here sooner and try and get to some gatherings especially the SEAT meet at Summernats given I am in Canberra that would have been an easy one to get too.
Well my ride is a black '99 SEAT Ibiza Cupra 16v which I bought from a guy in Camden about 2 years ago and who is probably on this forum (pretty sure he worked at Camden GTI...). Its a pretty good car only the odd niggle here and there - at present it isn't running hence why I was searching for a good VW/SEAT forum... but I will post separately for that issue.
Would love to know of other ppl in the ACT region so give us a holler and perhaps we can swap some war tales or street race up Ainslie Ave.... just kidding!
I would so love to drop a 1.8T into my beast and give her a nice lick of paint to freshen her up - but first to get it going again.....
Well glad to be on the forum - and glad to be somewhere where you don't have to explain what the hell you are driving!!
