Almost a transporter Owner

G'day,

I am in negotiation for a transporter 08 model fitted with a 128 kW diesel engine and 4 motion. Does anyone know of any short commings of this set up, have there been any serrious maintenance issues with the engine or 4 motion?

Any info appreciated.

You'll love the van, what is the slide that you talk about? is that one of those tent on the roof arrangements?

No, its a hard top small caravan type unit that slides on to the tray.

HI, love the setup. had a look at the lance website - i have a dualcab 4motion with the factory tray, so would be very interested to know how it all works!
