Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Getting my Golf GTi next week

    Hi All,

After years of driving in Honda's and Toyota's, it's time for a change. My driveway will welcome a new additional to the household. This will be my first VW so I'll hope this forum will give me a detailed 'know-how' of this beautiful machine.

Will post the new car next week.

    Cheers!

HAHA, I never actually realised that.

Got the car already and I have to say.... I'm FREAKIN' LOVING IT.
Though I'm starting to regret not getting Bi-Xeon Headlights....
Is there any chance that I can add this later on if I feel the need? Or am I stuck with normal headlights already?

I just got my Pirelli this week also.

Mine is also missing headlight upgrade, I am looking to bring some over from Japan as they seem the cheapest place to buy genuine VW parts. Just wanted to check the plugs etc on my car to ensure its the same as the ones I am looking at which they should be, just been too busy driving around and around.
