I have just completed the installation of 2L 8V into my Caddy (Golf 1 pick up)
- ADY engine
- 276 cam
- gotech mini x fuel management
this set up is good for 108 kw @ the wheels
Option 1
-Remove the in-take manifold an put in Toyota throttle body
this set up has been tested...120kw @ the wheels
Option 2 (help need here)
-Add a supercharger (Aisin SC12,SC14 or Eaton M45)
I wonder if anyone could asist with the following (JJGOLF77 has done this conversion his input will be much appreciated)
-did you lower compression ratio (if so to what)
-did you use bigger injectors (if so what size)
-what size pulleys
-what boost pressure
-did you relocate the alternator
-did you use an inter-cooler
-did you use one serpentine belt to run all
-reliability and fuel consuption (its a delivery vechile)
-what sort of power does this set up make
Thanks in advance for your assistance, actually consisdered putting in a VR6 but unfortunately the budget did not stretch that far
