Hey Guys,

My "special" car is a Peugeot 205 GTI but I am currently in the market for a new every day car. Current thought is a mk4 GTI. Whatever I choose it will have to last as my daily ride for 3-5 years, so plenty of research to do!

Welcome. You were on AF yea? I had a 205gti till earlier this year. Sold it and my jeep for the R32 golf. Miss it but its nice having a car that starts in the rain!

Yep. I'm on AF alright. Absolutely love my 205 but the maintenance has been getting out of control driving it every day.

I've got a budget of up to $25K which would allow me plenty of room to get the best mk4 I can. It will also allow for rims, suspension and possibly ecu etc to get the car to right where I want it.
