Converted XR6T Driver to Mk5 GOLF GTI

mate its quick alright but it lacks the power uptop around the 150+ mark lol
my old xr6t might as well build as the gti and might not be as comfortable but i have to say when it comes to power it had LOADS of it,
i should take the new car to the drags one day see how it goes
coz my xr6t quarter mile time is 12.2

Yeah anything after 140 + you could feel the lack of power. But again you are way over the speed limit A DsG golf GTi should do about 14.7-14.8 quarter mile.

But then again, The image of driving a GTI is just unbelievably Good (Including the heritage back from MK1 GTI). And if you look at the review done by top gear *Jeremy Clarkson* you will be amaze on the Golf .

the Mk6 GTI wont be here until the end of this year and the delivery date isnt until later half of next year from VW dealer at Liverpool thats what i got told before i purchased my MK5 gti

Sorry bro, must have got my timeline mixed up. I thought you were going to replace your brother's GTI with the new MkVI GTI. I got my black R32 as well in the end and loving every minute of the drive. I'm sure you're enjoying yours too.

No worries! we ended up buying the R32 for a replacement of our Mitsubishi Outlander . I love it every single bits of it. The exhaust note, the look.

It is truly a great outstanding Grand tourer car. I said similar to mini version of Aston martin v8 vantage
