Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    Hi All

    A Little About myself, I had a Tuned Xr6t before buying my New Golf GTI which btw the best investment i've ever made.

    my 2003 ba xr6t blueprint had 300rwkw, work done to it
    Nizpro stage 1.5, was running American Racing wheels 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 at the rear with Toyo 285 tyres. explosive on a straight but when it came to cornering Sh!+ loads of oversteer.

    My brand New 2008 MK 5 GTI, Black Magic with Sunroof and parking sensors and Tenzo type M rims so far within the 3 weeks of owning it I have done 1800km. I can’t believe how quick and how easy it is to hit 100km/hr, I am totally in love with this car.

              Glad you saw the light mate. I am a convert too, now a proud owner of a brand new R32. Just loving every moment in the car...

                              yeah mate! I gave the Mk V GTi to my brother, so he is driving that one now .

                              Told ya it was quick for 147kw. with proper launch Dsg it can reach 6.6 sec to 100km/hour. (I think it is almost the fastest car in the road).
                              And it is comfortable, prestige, and quality is awesome.
