Hi everyone, found this site and thought i would join.
Were hoping to move to WA next year (if the bloody visa ever happens)I have been a VW tech at a main dealer for around 13 years!!! so i just love em......LOL. I worked at a tuning company for a year or so,
Over the years i had a number of VWs every golf 1,2,3,4,5 a few polos and passat.Currently i have a mk1 GTI thats in need of some TLC.
Hope to start posting in the MK1 forum of the restoration as and when it happens

Got any plans for the mk1 rocco? iam in two minds to ship mine or sell it here.Are there many Mk1s in Australia??

If your Mk 1 is a genuine GTI or a Scirocco 1 or 2 then bring it, Have a peek in the MK 1 section, there are cars available, but far from mint condition..( exceptions noted ) GTI's were never officially sold by VW back then, altho there are numerous personal imports over the years..

My Scottish G/F is going through the same deal as you also..

welcome mate! It would be good if you brought a Corrado over, im sure youd be able to get a very decent money for it

hi balkanac, looks like i will have to import a load of VWs and sell them all on here lol.
is there many corrados for sale in aus??
i dont suppose theres many Golf rallyes??

There are probably 20 Corrados and golf rallyes all together in Aus. They dont come up 4 sale very often. VW never brought them here
