Hi all, we are a proud owner of a VW. 1st time vw onwer and very happy with the move.
we baught an R36 as our new family car. I hope to grow with the V dub community and learn more about them.

Thank you all, we are very happy with car.
I try to drive every chance i get, but we just dont drive much. So now in 4 weeks with the car we only clocked 400k's, Im waiting til I hit 500 just for things to settle and run in.

Q's please to all VW experts,
How fast are the R36's? VW claimed 5.6s -100k/hr. But when we test drove, oh I test drove the sedan with launch control i constantly recorded 5.0-5.1s ?
and having owned other quick machines in the past, it feels it too.
Before the 36 we had an FG F6 and VW 1st into 2nd just feels quicker.

The F6 could have had longer ratios, I know when, I drove my friends xr turbo it wasn't exciting but it was damn quick but didn't feel it so much.

I've never really been a fan of silver because they look a bit dull (only my opinion) but under the lights, yours looks pretty good!

Hi Dubbed, yeah We had BA then my ego got the better of me so we had to have the FG, then wife whinged and whinged that the boot was still small..
But F6 was faster got to admit.
We had other Jap stuff as well, hi po cars, but now i just grew out of the boy race scene i guess
