Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Newbie from Geelong, Vic

    Hi guys, been browsing the forum for a while, and have read all the rules.
    Great community here.

    I recently bought a Golf Mk4, 2000 model, red - Clubsport Special Edition, 1.6. - it replaces a 1998 SAAB 95 turbo that I crashed. Not as fast but twice the fun.
    Seems to be reliable, solid and very fun.

    I also have an ongoing Austin Healey Sprite Mk1 project that is almost complete.
    Lots of stuff to read and learn here, but i'm sure i'll ask my share of dumb questions.
    Looking to add cruise control and work out if it's worth getting Vagcom, and do some key coding....

    I will get some pics up soon, cause I know that

    Anyway, cheers guys, will post some pics soon and hope to meet some of the Melbourne guys
