Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • new guy, VIC, mk4 daily, datsun 1600 weekender

hi all, im Anthony, im from melbourne and i just bought myself a Mk4 2.0 as a daily driver after my SSS Pulsar got rear ended and written off. its black with tan interior, gotta say im wrapped with it. ive followed the dub scene for years and its good to finally be in a vw.

i dont really have any plans for it, im really enjoying it in its stock form, its so comfortable and drives so nice. when the time comes to replace the tyres ill look into getting some bigger OEM rims and lowering it a little bit.

my weekender is a 1969 Datsun 1600 with an FJ20ET (2ltr twincam turbo for those who are wondering) You can read all about it in my blog (see signature)

    cheers

Sweet blog! Just spent an hour perusing it.
There's a great build on the 'tex about a twin VR6 powered VW Lupo.
