Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    New guy MkV Jetta 2FSI

    Hi all,
    signed up a while ago but I have not had the chance to post.

    Very happy to be here and also very happy to have found VWwA.
    I own a Black 06 MkV5 Jetta 2FSI. And I bought a Black 07 Passat wagon 2TDI for my beautiful wife.
    What can I say, I love my Jetta and I look forward to finishing the mods/work that I have planned for it. At the moment it rides on stock 17" wheels, which soon will be replaced by 18"s maybe (any suggestions or suppliers, please let me know). Suspension is via KW coil over #3, and I also added a HiTV V2000 GPS/Stereo. Sunroof, dark tint and leather are factory and recently I fitted the Smoked Angel Eye Projector Headlights.
    Next will be ECU upgrade, filter and exhaust. Again I would appreciate any recommendations and feedback from you guys.

    PS: Sorry cant post any pics yet. Will do soon.

    What a beautiful combination of cars you have,with the Black Jetta and Passat.
    We are mostly all very passionate about our VWs.
    I think you will very much enjoy being here.

              Pictures are on the way. Been out of it the last few days getting over surgery (wisdom teeth). I'll wash and polish my Jetta, then post some pics.
              The lights look great and as far as I know, I'm the only one in OZ that has them.
