Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    So I bought one too....

Nothing flash, just a nice tidy 2004 VW Golf Mk4 2.0L Sport.
Black and in standard spec from the showroom.

Want to the standard black golf thing and get some smoked tailights (Some nice Hella ones, none of this Hong Kong rubbish) so if anyone has some for sale let me know. Then will do the custom paint mod for the front lights (been reading pages and pages of this forum) and the other standard bits and pieces.
Some fog/driving lights and the air intake mod running it down to the front grill.

This is the daily driver, the twin turbo play car (sorry non VW) is the one with the real performance stuff, this ones just to look pretty! (For now anyway)...

    From Melbourne btw.

            Welcome mate,

Is that a 1GGTE you have in your lux? My mate had one in an old celica, it went well from what I recall.

              Yep 1GGTE.

              Dang.

I join the VW forum, after buying a VW to stop having to play and use the hilux and now I'm stuck talking about it. Doh....

So back to my nice little black golf.
