Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Vic Drive Days???

    Hey Guys,

Just wondering if any drive days are organised in Melbourne, or if you meet somewhere for a cruise? Keen to to see some of your rides, and get some tips on mods etc....

Would be nice to stretch the legs to see what my TSi can do in the windy stuff, as I don't really get a chance with the mrs in the car. There's even some nice scenic stuff out the back of Monbulk, towards Emerald

Check out the Cruise and meet up section...No doubt there will be something in there.

Yarra Blvd is one the greatest pieces of Tarmac close to the CBD and Eastern suburbs. But it is very well known and also popular with cyclists, tourists, families and the law. Probably best not to push the out side of the evelope round there.

But in saying that a the Blvd is great for a weekly meet up and fang as its quick and close to many on here.

For weekend cruises the idea is to get out of the Suburbs and find some nice windy roads. As a Learner still I havnt been on any cruises but there is some good roads to be had out back of the hills.
