Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Trolling the forum from the states...

    My sister-in-law is from Cooma and my brother and her will be moving there next year for a while so I will likely be down to visit for a month or so sometime. I really, really want to buy a golf 1 while I am there to travel it and hopefully would be able to import it back to the US when I leave. So you will never see me around town but I will be around here, looking for that car thousands of miles away that I must have...

    And I seem to be having issues showing pictures? Is it just a photobucket thing or is it me?

    Welcome Hans! Hope you enjoy your stay in the neighbouring town and find that Mk1! Also you should hit the slopes during winter, which would be about an hour down from you.
