Hi, I came across this site accidentally. I was looking for info on the golf. Just recently I took a 2008 TDI GT Sport for a test drive, loved it , bought it. Well put a deposit on it anyway, just waiting for the pre-delivery. I cannot wait till I get it. In the mean time I have been searching for upgrade parts.

Already I love it more than my trade in car 2003 Mercedes. But that's no comparison.

Hi David, Cograts- do you mind sharing what you paid, kms auto etc, as i've found them hard to find(part from dealers). Ive given up and looking at std 09 TDI ?

What's the Merc you're getting rid of?

Sorry for the delay, didn't see this message. The Merc was a 03 Vito 108CDI. Nothing but trouble with various minor and major things. But mostly with the Common Rail Fuel Injection. (KEEP CLEAR OF IT)

A fair Deal, As VW had a deal where they paid Stamp duty, Dealer delivery, etc and then some. List price of $45K plus. But a great car.
