Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Nice R32 mate, welcome to the forum. Would that be the one i saw selling quite cheap recently?

Has it got standard suspension? Looks like it sits fairly low, perfect.

I was thinking the same thing - nice height.
Thing about a 'stock' R32 is that they're so well equipped there isn't much you'd want to add!

hey mate, Most probably was! He was a senior engineer heading overseas for 3-5 years - wanted 42k on carsales, but when we all got together for a chat i walked away with it for 38k (car was compression tested + 18mths warranty left!)

i was 99% to buy a mkiv r32, but the night before i was to pick it up seller calls and wanted a further 2k ontop of our agreed, so i told him good luck and went and purchased this!

                    Yes stock everything, incl springs

i like the wheels, so they will stay

future mods include: Tint + CDA Filter + ECU remap/Chip + Miltek exhaust + Haldex gen II - most likly in that order

                    Nathan
