Canadian dubber checking in..

Hello

I am a Canadian dubber and will be flying down to Australia on Wednesday to stay for a while. thought i would say hello.

I am interested in knowing if there are any VW shows in the Brisbane area over December and January?
I will be staying mostly in Brisbane for my length of stay and would like to check out the local cars down there.

Any good websites that may have a car show listing?

I would also love to check out a swap meet or find a junk yard where iam able to go route through the old cars for parts we dont get in Canada.

Any info would be great!

heya, thats a very nice jetta! i owned one myself here though its wasnt that clean So staying in Rochedale huh, im sure we could organise for u to be picked up and draged around and as far as shows, nope, and swap meets? jeez i doubt that either, though i'm not 100% sure . . .

yah meeting some of you guys and seeing your cars would be rad. i dont know the phone number of where iam staying though. when i figure that out i can post it up or something.

Any wrecking yards in this city that would have some dubs in it that i could pull parts from? iam looking for badges and lights. little things like that which are different than North American spec cars i would like to send home

specifically interior and small exterior parts is what iam looking for. also looking for mk1 parts and mk4 or mk5 head light switches.
alot of stuff is different from the north american market

I am in brisbane now and will be here until the 10th of january
