Hi Everyone, Just re-joined up after a 10 year hiatus from the forum.

Purchased a MY09,R36 back in 2014 with only 33,000km in Biscay Blue and had to part with it due to partners health complications.

Best car I’d ever driven and dearly missed so recently I came across a Biscay Blue MY08 R36 with Dynaudio, Sunroof and reverse camera already conveniently installed. This car is obviously not in the condition my old R36 was but has been very well looked after. Will not take much to get it close to that standard.

Only member on here I remember unfortunately is Kamold so big (Hi)to him if he is still active🙂.

Will need a little help upgrading the ugly red cluster later with a newer colour version or even just white like my old 09 model had.

Trying to source a cluster at the moment and I believe the adaptor harness.

Happy to help with anything car related so please ask as I do all my own servicing etc.

I’ll upload some of my old 09 model and the new 08 today😁.

Yeah may have to work something out with the cluster👍🏼I’m keen as
to change asap. You name a price and I’ll happily buy one off you.

I need to get an adaptor cable and find out how to program it which I’ll need advice on
how to do.

I’m in Vic South East so if anyone can help I’ll also pay for your help or slab & $ your way.

Yeah I love both variants but this came up and with the Dynaudio & Sunroof plus full service history she was a bit hard to go past.


Having said that I have been busy doing little bits here and there to bring it up to my standard which is ridiculously fussy unfortunately ��.


My Christmas break is not a break so far.




:Spent about 7 hours on paint correction
:Towbar was removed last week
:L.E.D’s installed through whole car,just vanity lights still to do be done.
:Spark plugs,Oil,Oil filter,Air filter done plus liqui moly engine detox.
:I replaced valve cover gasket and thought I’d best do the pcv valve plus inlet manifold gaskets at the same time.
: Pollen filter
: Cleaned and conditioned leather


I’ve now sourced a RNS510 dynaudio headunit which I’m putting back in as the previous owner had removed it in favour of a cheap chinese double din unit.


Future will be looking at DRL’s, upgrade to climatronic hopefully & update the cluster to later style.


Also need to buy VCDS again.

Decided to do the Valve cover gasket and obviously the PCV valve , it was pretty rugged when I checked inside so worthwhile doing definitely.
