Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Hi, I reckon car mechanics are on the MODL list, in demand trades.
Home Affairs brings together Australia's federal law enforcement, national and transport security, criminal justice, emergency management, multicultural affairs, settlement services and immigration and border-related functions, working together to keep Australia safe.
At your age getting residency would be easy if you have 3 years work experience after an apprenticeship. Get all your paperwork in order to bring with you!!
Have a great time down here.

Welcome newbiei'm really dissapointed with your vage website, theres no mk3's
well like a couple but are they not popular over there? and no one hear has stated that the modified dub scene here in Aus is very small, but is slowly growing so dont expect big things
enjoy your stay though and hopefully we can convince you to stay

Think is though, if you don't mind what make of car you work on, you'll not struggle to get a job. The first one will be the hardest for sure but that's just the way it is here.
If you had main dealer experience, that would be the best route. I am not sure what form of licensing the car trades have. Jmac would know or you could check out the TAFEs for info.

i have main dealer experience alright. 8 years working on opel which is the european version of holden, and a bit of nissan and honda.. so we will see how we go.. another irish club website is [url]www.vagdrivers.net, hopefully this might be better for some mk3 golfs.. enjoyLast edited by irish dubber; 25-10-2008, 07:43 PM.
