Its been a while in the making but I have finally got my first VW. Our family is kinda known for driving Vw's, my dad and his dad, my dads brothers, this could go on forever. More to the point i'll tell you what i have, its a 1975 TS Passat and boy is a she a ripper! Bought it off my cousin actually who bought it off this guy who likes to restore stuff. Its still a work in progress at the moment, this is it so far;
Eng - 1.8L from a mk3, running the original solex though just found where i can get a 34mm downdraft, dual throat
Tint - 15% black all round
Rims - stock at the moment but hopefully some 15"s from sydney very soon!
Audio - just a basic CD player at the moment but there are some plans for the future.
Its a start, but all i can see is potential and I love the thing to bits.
As for me, i'm an apprentice mechanic at a 4x4 dealership. Bit of a musician. I love to help out, be involved and play around with interesting stuff.
