Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hi All,


    First time poster with a particular interest in VW MK4's. Hoping that I can tap into the collective knowledge of those involved in this forum to help with some fixes and modifications.

    Welcome David! Plenty of mk4 gurus on here and over on the Facebook page too. Where abouts in SA are you? I'm northern near Gawler and I have a few mk4s floating around including mk4 R32, wagon and Tdi Bora.

        Plenty of meets but nothing vag specific these days especially in SA. I might organise something in the future for early water-cooled guys to meet up

          good luck mate, keep the community alive - dont see too many mk4 here in SA
          Long time VW enthusiast first car 1968 beetle, 09 Tig TDI on Eibach springs and now '18 Tiguan Allspace TDI on KW V1 coils overs and OEM Misano wheels - here for dad wagon chats lowered scrubbing complaints :)
