Hi Everyone,
Been reading these forums for about 2 years. Had a MY 10.5 R36 Biscay Blue Sedan that unfortunately was declared a repairable write off after a relatively minor accident (airbags front and seat belt tensioner deployed).
So decided to buy the salvage back as car still runs and drives and I’ve spent a fortune of my time and money getting it mechanically perfect.
Just purchased a 10.5 wagon and am essentially keeping my sedan as a bit of an insurance policy considering everything mechanically in it is A1.
Will most likely part it out once I’m confident the new (to me) wagon is solid - don’t have the space to strip and store everything and am still not sure just how stringent VIV is as far as DIY repairs (essentially just replacing parts).
Anyway, learnt a mountain of stuff from the members on this site so far. So thanks for your contributions.
