G'day all. Have been lurking on these forums for a really long time since purchasing my 2009 MY10 125TDI CC around 4 years ago. Over my ownership I've gotten a real kick out of retrofits and the B6/B7/CC platform provides so much opportunity for my car. I've upgraded climatronics, replaced door modules, installed 9w7, updated to the newer vents and make my own wiring harness for the lights. Luckily my car came with about every factory option except the sunroof, so there is a lot I don't have to do!
My most recent challenge has been attempting an MIB2 retrofit. I really liked the factory RNS510 and nav but CarPlay was too enticing, plus the RNS maps were really starting to show their age. My unit is CP locked although the seller assured my it was unlocked, so here to get some advice and gain some additional insight before using it as a paperweight and going back to the RNS
