Hello all. I currently drive a LR Discovery 2 TD5 manual so I'm used to working on my own car.
The Golf tdi manual came to me via my son who is a motorcycle mechanic.
It is intended to be my 16 year old step sons first car.
It was overheating when driven and this was due to a faulty water pump. It has faded headlights and the roof lining falling down. The SRS light is on.
I'm slowly fixing it for him so joining this forum sounded like a good idea. It's hard to be an expert on everything so getting the brains trust opinion is never a bad thing.
