G'day all,

I just picked up a sweet little black Mk6 Golf GTI. I've already fitted a set of PS4s and am keen to get stuck into a few more little improvements:

Head unit upgrade
Reverse camera
LED interior lights
Stage 1 APR or Bluefin tune (Still gotta work through some research on this one to decide, that's why I joined the forum).

Before you spend a lot more on mods, I’d be getting all the maintenance up to scratch.

Make sure the DSG servicing has been done, timing chain tensioner/guides/chain have been updated and carbon clean the back of the intake valves.

A DSG or timing failure can make a significant dent in your wallet.

Thanks Tigger, absolutely. The maintenance is mostly under control, that carbon clean is the only outstanding item.
No DSG worries on this one, its only got one clutch.
