Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Also welcome to the forum. Tell us more about your Transporter. Engine type, gearbox, body type eg, windows or panel van & type of rear doors. It's important when seeking advice in your postings to always state engine code. These vans were fitted with around 7 different engines in Aust. & a couple more in Europe.Understand how it works, troubleshoot logically BEFORE replacing parts.
