Hi all, I’ve just recently purchased my second VAG car, a 2012 Skoda vRS with the 2.0TSI CCZA engine. I know I know it isn’t an actual VW, but it basically is and this forum has all the best info and help regarding these engines. I’ve spent a lot of time reading these forums while researching before buying, and want to thank you all for helping me be well educated when I went looking.
Had a standard Mk4 golf for 10 years and loved it to death. Sold it when I had a company car for personal use, but that recently disappeared and I was back in the market for a used car. Always wanted a Mk6 GTI but soon found I couldn’t afford a non-abused one, so swapped my focus to its red-headed step child, the Skoda Octavia vRS. Went a very non-conventional route and managed to get the exact car I was looking for, albeit with some baggage. I look forward to pestering you on these forums with mechanical questions and thank you in advance for any help you’re able to provide.
