Hello. My name is Marcelo, I'm Brazilian and currently live in Portugal. I am a mechanical engineer and since I was a kid I always liked cars.
My father had several Vws among them: VW Variant aircooled 1974 (brazilian model), VW Santana 1984 / model 1985 (known as Passat B2 in Europe). This was the car that marked my life because I learned a lot. It was 17 years of a lot.
Then I had my first car, so to speak, a VW Parati GL 1991 followed by a VW Gol 3rd. generation or MKIII.
Years have passed and today I am purchasing a Passat Variant B3 1.6TD GL 1993. Yes, it is an old car but this is a very good car.. All original except by the two rear trunk covers that the old owner make two big holes to put speakers i guess.
I hope that the friends here can help me, because there are many doubts that I have and in what I can contribute spore that is of everyone's expectation.
