Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Non Aus DBP Golf 4 R32 from NZ

    Hi All,

Introducing myself and my Deep Blue Pearl R32 w/Sunroof (don't believe you guys got sunroof's, sorry not sorry) owned this one for 2 months now but previously had a Reflex Silver 5dr Mk4 R32 for 3 years.

Only 32 of these came into NZ officially 14 in DBP.

Build plan for the foreseeable future is just OEM+

First port of call with the car is getting these wheels back to OEM silver the Anthracite the previous owner had them done in doesn't do it for me

Welcome to the forum. Nice car - the R32 was the only top end model with the right engine. Turbo 4 will never be as good as the 6 IMO.
