Passat wagon B7 or B8

A newbie here .. 53 ears old and driven many types of cars .. now just taken a MY15 passat wagon after a long search .. but happy with the car .. before i start to search threads on peoples experience.. looking to find the variant of the model .. how do i find whether it is a B7 or B8 ...

A MY15 Passat should be a B8 and it would be either of the following models (wagon);
132TSI
132TSI Comfortline
140TDI Highline
206TSI R-Line

Another way that we can assist is if you provide the following;

Build Date:
Compliance Date:

That should help work out what car you have.

Also, the B6 and B7 are the previous generation Passat's around 2005 - 2014
B8 from 2015 onwards (current).
