New VW....Dealer accessory upsell. Are they all a scam?

Hi Folks,
Not sure if this is the best place for this question, but as this is the first place every owner looks and posts....
You are 4 weeks out from taking delivery of your shiny new VW when the dealer rings and starts on the upsell. Paint protection. Window tinting. Interior protection. Dent insurance. Almost +3,000 on top of the purchase price!
Are these a scam??
I would be very interested in your collective feedback - because whether you bought a Polo or a Passat...all these extra products are the same!

Suggest they bend over so you can shove it well in..When I bought mine i told them straight I DO NOT WANT TO SPEAK TO THE MING MOLL. I said it didnt matter what she said I wasnt buying She rang me later because she said she had to as part of her job so I said thats fine youve done it so goodbye.

Everything they try to sell you including "Cheaper insurance through us" is an upsell I got insurance quote from same company for 33% less. Paint protection is 3 times the price it can be done for. Most VW already have tinting. Dent insurance Yeah right
Interior protection I bought a bottle of leather conditioner and a cleaner for $40 and they lasted 8 years
