So I'm from Adelaide, SA and I found VWWatercooled forum just over a year ago after I purchased my 2007 Mk5 Golf GT twincharger. Was love at first sight for me but after the honeymoon period wore off the relationship developed into a bit of a love/hate kinda one. I do love my VW and got to know her really well after she blew her turbo not long after we started dating and it was through reading the posts in these rooms that I was able to diagnose the problem and fit her with a brand new K03. I enjoy reading up on DIY posts because I want to know everything about my 1.4 TSI and don't trust anyone else but myself to take care of her as I've gotten to know what she likes and dislikes. I decided to register on here after I read someone else's post on a similar problem I had and wanted to give back what this forum has given to me! It's hard work being in love with a VW but at the end of the day and despite our differences, my GT does make me look pretty sexy so you gotta love it!

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
