NSW I bought a 9 year old Tiguan!

Hi everyone. My first foray into the VW brand (apart from dim memories of the mid 1960s vintage brown VW beetle my parent owned when I was 5) is a beautifully looked after 2010 Tiguan with just under 200K on the clock.
Got it at a good price. I am looking forward to lots of trips away, on and off the bitumen.

Here for advice and recommendations. Particular keen to find a reliable independent mechanic in western Sydney region who doesn't charge a fortune (I am based in the Blue Mountains).

Congratulations on the purchase. Hopefully you get many more km out of the TDI.

I know there’s some fairly high mileage cars around still going strong.
