Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Amazed at the VW Transporter

    Hi I’m Kathy, I have a VW Tranporter converted to a camper van. I am amazed at where I can go in this machine. I have recently driven into Stockyard Gully (near Eneabba WA) some deep sand and rocky outcrops, out on the Gascoyne river flats then I did the coastal road from Coral Bay to Exmouth crossing Yarrdie Creek, no problems at all, just blew me away also been to Cape Leveque on the Dampier Peninsular. I would like to understand the DSG a bit more if anyone can explain it in layman’s terms.
