Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Non Aus New to VWW

    Hi all,
    I'm looking for nice feautures and OBD11/VCDS tweaks for our MK2 Tiguans.
    Looking forward to share information will you all. Thanks.

    Most interesting would be to find the solution for:

    how to activate tailgate close on Tiguan Allspace (7 seater/Long Wheel Base model) with door knob and/or remote key with OBDII? I can open the tailgate with knob and key. But for safety reason VW made the 7 seater not able to close remotely. This is possible on the Short Wheel Base and 5 Seater LWB/Allspace models.

    Hi and welcome!

    If the option isn't available through selection in the long coding, then you'll be into adaption channels.

    Just need to translate all the German to try and figure out which option you need to change. Best to keep a record of what changes you make just in case you need to change them back.
