Hi all,
I actually don't own a VW right now. My lancer was written off by hail damage recently and I'm shopping around for a new car for my family. An opportunity has come up for a pretty cheap 2008 B6 2.0 TDi Passat which I'm considering and I wanted to join here to ask for some advice - I'll do so in the Passat forums so as not to clog up this place.
I know you probably saw the lancer comment and vomited in your mouth a little, but for what its worth, before I become a dad I had my favourite car I've owned, a mk 5 GTi. Lovely car and I miss it dearly, but I couldn't stand to watch my kids mess it up, so I bought the lancer to sacrifice to their grubby mits and car seats.
