Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    VIC Hello from new member in VIC

    Hi all.

    Denno from Melbourne here. Just ordered a VW Tiguan Wolfsburg edition in black, so looking around for information on what people have done to their rides which led me here. Some great information found already. Delivery scheduled for mid-February and can't wait for it to arrive. First water cooled VW but second VW. The first being a 1979 Westfalia Kombi, which I am slowly restoring.

    Looking forward to spending some reading time here and hopefully will be able to contribute as well.

    Hi from Buninyong!

    Enjoyed many km since 1976 & after 5 Twincab chassis with the same custom bin body on a T4, 3x T5, to last T6. Used Station Wagons 1981 till 1976 when those twincabs arrived! Also loved wife's 2009 Golf Comfortline till 2018, now feet up & have 08/17 Tiguan Adventure & 2018 Golf Comfortline with full Assist in the garage.

    Often looked up information on VWWatercooled, great resource! Time to join in...
